Kobe Bryant Doubtful, Bynum Likely Out
Kobe Bryant had an MRI exam on his sprained left ankle Monday and will be a game-time decision for Monday night’s home game against San Antonio, while Lakers center Andrew Bynum is not expected to play.
The MRI results will be released later Monday. Bryant sat out the Lakers’ game Saturday in Portland because of the ankle, one of many injuries he has been battling.
Bynum was hurt after falling on his hip against Portland. He said he would not play tonight and didn’t sound like he would play Wednesday at Utah, the Lakers’ last game before the All-Star break.
“I’m not sure,” he said. “I don’t think so.”
