John Wall Cleared To Play For Kentucky
Point guard John Wall has been cleared to play basketball for Kentucky by the NCAA, the school said on Friday. Wall must repay expenses and sit out for two games, the first exhibition game and the regular-season opener on Nov. 13.
“I’m grateful to have this decision behind me,” Wall said in statement. “All I ever wanted was to go to school and play ball with my team. This has been really hard for my mom and I want to thank her for her support during this process.”
The repayment of expenses includes $787.58, mostly from travel during Wall’s unofficial visits to schools his junior year of high school.
